Description:
The Güde knives from the ALPHA Olive series are classic Solingen craftsmanship in a timelessly simple design, high-quality workmanship and extremely functional. The hand-forged blade is made from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel, rustproof, ice-hardened and sharpened by hand. The handle of the Güde knives from the ALPHA Olive series is made of 100 to 500 year old, very hard and weatherproof olive wood, the structure of which has a lively grain and looks particularly elegant in combination with the shiny steel.
You should definitely avoid cutting surfaces made of stone or ceramic, as these will damage the blade and quickly dull it. To protect the blade, we recommend a wooden or plastic cutting board.
Since the Güde knife from the ALPHA Olive series has an aluminum rivet, it must not be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, it is sufficient to clean the knife blade with a damp cloth immediately after use.
To avoid damaging the blades and handles, the high-quality knife should never be left loose in the drawer. For home use, we recommend storing the knife in a suitable knife block. Magnetic strips, blade protectors or knife holders are a good alternative.
