The light colour and woven pattern, which is reminiscent of traditional European wicker baskets, make the lampshade the ideal accessory for homes in a modern Scandinavian interior design style, which creates a homely feel with light colours and simple shapes.

Description:
The lampshades are made from plant fibres. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.
Main material: Rattan
Rattan palms usually grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants that take up space from other plants and extract many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical additives, have to be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.

Production location: This lamp is handmade in Bali, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritise fair payment and good working conditions. Only experienced artisans of legal age work in the factories from which we source our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. As all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the businesses.
