Global knife set G-773889 stainless steel 3 pieces
The knife set consists of three very different knives.
The smallest knife in the series is the GS-38 paring knife. The blade is a mono-steel blade made of molybdenum stainless steel of the type X 50 Cr MoV 15 and has a length of 9 cm. The blade hardness is approx. 58° Rockwell and the handle, also made of high-quality steel, is a real pleasure to hold. With the GS-38 you have an ideal paring knife for cleaning, peeling and garnishing. It is also ideal for larding and for removing fat and tendons from pieces of meat.
The second knife in this set is the GS-89 universal chef's knife. The GS-89 is based on the GS-3 model, which is already well-known and very popular with many chefs. The handle scales of the curved handle are filled with just enough sand to ensure that the weight distribution between the blade and handle is optimally balanced for cutting. The blade length of the GS-89 is 13 cm and the blade has the typical Japanese V-grind.
The G-77 has a blade length of 20 cm and a slightly different scalloped edge compared to the already well-known G-61. The G-77 also has the typical features of this knife series, such as the mono-steel blade, the optimal balance of blade and handle and of course the perfect Global quality.
All in all, this set is a very well-balanced mixture of the already proven and the new and underlines Global's position at the top of the Japanese knifemakers' field.
The Global knife set G-773889 consists of the following knives:
- G-77 Global chef's knife 20 cm with scallops
