Description:
Spice Mill Swing - Wooden Lid:
The Skeppshult herb mill / pepper mill SK-0071V is made of pure cast iron and feels really good in the hand due to its round base and the heaviness of the material. In the storage container, the spices and herbs can be sealed with a shapely walnut lid and stored without affecting the taste. This part of the mill has ribbing on the outside of its base, as does the grinding vessel on the inside of its base. The way the Skeppshult herb mill / pepper mill works is ingenious: by simply turning the two parts of the vessel against each other, herbs and spices are ground evenly and particularly gently. The Skeppshult herb mill / pepper mill can be used for spices such as pepper, cumin, mustard seeds as well as for dried and fresh herbs.

Spice mill Swing - cork lid:
The Skeppshult spice mill Swing is unique in its function and composition. It consists of two vessel parts with ribbed bottoms. The grinding vessel with ribbing on the inside and the storage vessel with ribbing on the outside. The herbs are gently ground by turning. With the Skeppshult storage jar, the herbs and spices can be stored without affecting the taste. The Skeppshult spice mill is closed with a cork lid. An unusual designer piece that lies very well in the hand and attracts attention in the kitchen.

Special notes:
The Swing herb mills by Skeppshult are lacquered on the outside and therefore cannot be burned in with oil. Burning in oil would damage the lacquer coating. Skeppshult recommends a horsehair brush for cleaning. If you clean your Skeppshult Swing spice mill with water, use only hot water and dry it thoroughly (especially the inner grinding teeth, otherwise corrosion will occur. Only grind dry spices such as dried chillies, pepper, rosemary, tarragon, oregano and broken cinnamon bark etc. Herbs and spices such as basil, garlic and others that secrete moisture are not suitable. Also, do not use salt in the grinder. When filling the spices and herbs, the bottom should be covered at most, which makes the grinding process much easier.
