Chef's knife ALPHA Olive - 16cm
The chef's knife from the ALPHA Olive series is a versatile knife that no kitchen should be without: it weighs, chops, cuts, presses, shapes and transports.
The Güde knives in the ALPHA Olive series are classic Solingen craftsmanship in a timelessly simple design, with high-quality workmanship and supremely functional. The hand-forged blade is made of one piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel, stainless, ice-hardened and sharpened by hand. The handle of the Güde knives in the ALPHA Olive series is made of 100 to 500-year-old, very hard and weather-resistant olive wood, whose structure is vividly grained and looks particularly noble in combination with the shiny steel.

Description:
Stone or ceramic cutting pads should be avoided at all costs, as they damage the blade and quickly dull it. To protect the blade, a cutting board made of wood or plastic is recommended.
As the Güde knife from the ALPHA Olive series has an aluminium rivet, it must not be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, it is sufficient anyway to clean the knife blade with a damp cloth directly after use.
To avoid damage to blades and handles, the high-quality knife should never be left loose in the drawer. For household use, it is therefore recommended to store the knife in a suitable knife block. Magnetic strips, blade protectors or knife holders are a good alternative.
